Stowmarket is the largest town in the district of Mid Suffolk with a population of approximately 19,000 and it sit's conveniently on the major trunk road of the A14 between Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
The town offers excellent rail links to London Liverpool Street (1h 25mins), Cambridge (1h 10mins) and Norwich (35mins), the town is expanding fast.
Even though it is growing in size and population Stowmarket still hasn’t lost its charm, with a variety of listed buildings, typical of Suffolk’s towns and villages.
Stowmarket has plenty to offer visitors. As well as a wide range of shops in the town centre, Stowmarket is home to the award-winning Museum of East Anglian Life – one of the biggest museums in Suffolk, a thriving cinema in The Regal. The town offers various preschools, primary and High Schools.
